In Venom: The Last Dance, Eddie/Venom (Tom Hardy) starts out the film seaside and away from the regular hometown in this, the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom may be trying to hide out, but they stick out like sore thumbs. The bartender does not know what Eddie speaks of, but one glimpse of Venom peeking to see his environment is just a bit too much for the bartender to know. You will see what I mean when others arrive at the bar. Visitors to the bar end up setting the action in motion, shortly after dealing with some locals who do not like the looks of Eddie.

The film is directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she wrote, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel, based on Marvel Comics. I have seen the prior two Venom movies, and while I liked them, this third in the trilogy is more entertaining than what I recall of the second film. There are some serious scenes, but there is always something humorous happening between Eddie and Venom. Aside from their good dialogue, the fact that there is a family traveling in a van toward Area 51 to see it before it is totally demolished is quite a good addition to the adventure Eddie has with Venom while trying to stay alive.

Synopsis: In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo is forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.
